Canon EOS 7D
The following pictures were taken at the Lakewood Forest Preserve in Wauconda, Illinois on January 13, 2014.
It was a really pretty day. The temperature was 45 and winds were light. Much of the snow had melted. We went there to try out the 2 lenses that I had inherited from my father: the Tamron 18-270 mm zoom lens and the Sigma 18-200 zoom mm lens. As it turns out, I wasn't really impressed with either lens. I guess they could both jut be bad copies since I have read good reviews of each lens (have read some negative ones as well talking oabout the lack of sharpness shich I experienced). I think my Canon 18-135 produces better, sharper images.
I decided to have some fun with several of the images by modifyling them with Topaz filters. I know purists don't care for these kind of modifications but I really have fun with them.
